POSTER ABSTRACTS

This year’s NH Environmental Health Conference planning committee invites undergraduate and graduate students to submit poster presentation applications for the 2023 event.

Presenting a poster is an excellent opportunity for young scholars to show their work in a visual format, promote discussion about their chosen subject, interact with seasoned academics, and receive feedback about their projects.

Information for Applicants:

  • Undergraduate applicants must be juniors or seniors in the 2023-24 academic year.
  • Graduate applicants must be enrolled at a higher education institution for the 2023-24 academic year.
  • Interested students must submit an application via the online submission portal and include a 300-word abstract of original unpublished data. Links to fact sheets, videos or other literature relevant to the topic can be shared in support of the abstract. The NHEHC Committee may follow up for additional information regarding your submission.
  • Topics must be related to environmental health (including but not limited to: occupational health, community exposures, climate and health,  indoor and ambient air quality, radiation safety, food safety, environmental justice, environmental law, environmental epidemiology, environmental engineering, conservation, health-supportive cities and built environments, emerging contaminants in various media – soil, fish, indoor air).
  • Successful applicants will be required to register for the Conference. Scholarships are available for poster presenters (up to 2 students per poster).
  • More submission details and guidelines for final poster projects, and registration instructions will be made available to confirmed participants.

Applications will be evaluated and accepted on a rolling basis until October 12, 2023

Proposals must be submitted through the submissions system via submission form only.

Questions can be directed to nhevents@jsi.com.
